The problem
Husqvarna products suitable for listing needed to be collected and organized into a clean dataset for bulk product listing. Each product required complete information, including its title, price, and description. The website’s heavy use of JavaScript and differing page structures made extraction challenging, with each section requiring a tailored scraping approach.
My approach
Developed a Scrapy-based scraper with extraction logic tailored to the website’s different sections. It collected the product information needed for listing, handled JavaScript-loaded data, and standardized the extracted content into a consistent format. The data was then cleaned and organized for bulk product listing.
Results
Produced a clean, structured dataset of Husqvarna products, including titles, prices, and descriptions, to support bulk product listing and reduce manual data entry.
